A guide to public participation designed for the 21st century

Participation in Practice is a new user guide, created by Participatr, designed to help town planners, local government officers, developers and Neighbourhood Planners make public participation a success

Traditional ways to engage with the public are outdated and often produce negative outcomes. That's why we have created this practical guide, to help organisations across the public and private sectors turn public consultation from a 'tick box' exercise into something that brings real value.

Alongside our step-by-step guide, we are launching a new CPD offer. This is a short, two hour session covering consultation and public participation best practice, as well as an opportunity to explore unique solutions to challenges that organisations across the public and private sector face when talking to the public. If you are interested in hosting a CPD event, please get in touch.

Our step by step guide is available online at www.p2practice.com and can be downloaded in PDF format by clicking here.
